- CURTAIN AND STANDING OVATION -

A Spring Time Funeral
above the funeral home
two birds are mating

the loaded casket
the somber funeral procession

the destination is the cemetery
everyone knows where it is

there will be an eulogy
the dead will be mute

the spring sky is clear
there will be a moon light tonight

my funeral will come later
will it be also in spring time?

Memory Does Not Age
she was a young woman fifty years ago
she is a young woman today
she never became old
for she is a memory
and a memory does not age
it only fades
