Peycho Kanev (email)

About the Poet:

Peycho Kanev is 27 years old.He lives in Chicago.

ice for us

the sun rise like
an enemy
and drill into the eye,
the water runs cool and
mystic through
the centuries
and wild horses run
on the field
like some glorious demons
reminding us
that we will never
understand.

wild

a knife
a tyrant’s tear
and I make a step forward
pick up the rose
and I toss it
in into the grave
where it belongs
and there is no present
no future
just this
cemetery dance
of bones
for you
and
me.

these things

all these things that we do
in the name of Art and Love
are sinful and wicked
and we carry on with this
absurdity because we know
about all the great names
from the Past and
we don’t know how to keep
the pace with them
but at the end
at the vary end
we discover that everything
is filled with falseness and
shined myth
and only the graves are real.

all I want

all I want from
the world is
this:

your smile
in time of agony

bottle of
wine
and one cigarette
in the hand
and
matches
in the other

while I am dying
in our
bed.
